Dj ALA MALISA
Ala Malisa (Poland) took her first steps into dancing with modern dance at an early age. She has studied classical ballet, jazz&contemporary dance and contact improvisation and took part in various theatre dance performances as dancer and choreographer.
In 2012, Ala met Tango and started her tango education in Poland before continuing her studies in Argentina and Germany. Shortly after she got hypnotized by the beauty of the tango music and this lead her to begin of DJ’ing.
While Dj’ing she loves to enliven dancers with energy sets from the golden era de cuarenta on which she mosty bases her performances. Her aim is to increase the energy on the floor by creating powerful tandas that touches the heart and inspire to high spirited dancing. A fan of not only crazy beat but also songs with a large emotional load. She has been DJ’ing in many tango marathons and festivals around Europe. Her Dj’ing program included Turkey, Poland, France, Hungary, Germany and Lithuania. Nowadays living in Berlin and cocreating the local tango scene as dancer, teacher, tdj and milonga organiser.
